One thing that sometimes helps, and we ask that you try, is to perform an (embed control) EC reset - steps below:
- Turn off (shut down) the Chromebook (don't just close the lid).
- Hold down the Refresh
key and while holding it down depress the Power button. - After a count of 5 seconds, release the refresh key during the Chromebook restart process.
- Do this three times (steps 1-3) with the adapter firmly connected and charging and then, if the system will boot up with the adapter disconnected, three more times
