Pasting my exchange with one student earlier in the week that addresses the pop up issue.---------------That page explains that you need to disable pop-up blocking on your Chromebook. I have pasted below the steps from the document. Note my highlighted suggestions. After adding the NWEA as described below, please go and test again to see if you're all set. Let me know if you have any questions and how you get on.

Chrome (Mac, Windows, or Chromebook):

1. Click the menu icon (three vertical dots) to the right of the address bar.
   
2. Select Settings.
3. In the left navigation section, select Privacy and security.
4. Select Site settings.
5. Select Pop-ups and redirects.
6. To allow all pop-ups, toggle the Blocked option. [I would suggest not doing this step 6 -- Mr. Salzer]
7. To allow pop-ups from NWEA only:
   1. Click the Add button next to Allow.
   2. Type [*.]mapnwea.org in the Add a site field.
      
   3. Click Add to save your changes.
